Vermont Symphony Orchestra: Under The Stars

Due to a severe weather forecast, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra concert on Sunday, July 25, at 6:00 p.m. will now take place indoors at the Paramount Theatre (30 Center Street, Rutland).

Join us as we re-open our doors after a 16-month hiatus. We’re thrilled to bring live orchestral music and vocalist Francesca Blanchard back to Rutland!

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Heritage Family Credit Union Online Box Office at www.ParamountVT.org or at the door.

 

 

The Paramount Box Office can be reached via email at boxoffice(at)paramountvt.org or in person on Friday July 23 until 6:00pm; Saturday July 24 10:00am-3:00pm; and Sunday July 25 from 4:00pm until the concert begins. Tickets for the concert will be for general seating in the theatre.

Conducted by VSO’s Creative Projects Chair Matt LaRocca, the program features Burlington-based singer-songwriter Francesca Blanchard In partnership with The Paramount Theatre, a dynamic 25-piece chamber orchestra plays music inspired by nature and the great outdoors. Reunite with the VSO at this family-friendly concert which includes Copland’s feisty “Hoedown,” selections from Bizet’s Carmen, Libertango by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, Wood Notes by the legendary William Grant Still, and VSO musicians backing Blanchard in arrangements of several of her original songs.

Per ‘Vermont Forward’ guidance, masks are encouraged, but not required.
