Paramount Theatre – Rutland in Vermont’s Green Mountains, sits in a wide valley between two mountain ranges, in a natural north-south passage. To the east there are three large peaks in the Green Mountain range, Killington, Pico and Shrewsbury. The Taconics are to the west. Be sure to visit of our nearby mountains and lakes and join thousands of tourists who visit our region to ski, hike, swim, enjoy the autumn foliage and to catch great entertainment at the Paramount Theatre. As Vermont’s second largest city, rich in natural beauty, with a healthy economy and a wonderful history, Rutland is hailed as an eclectic mix of the old and new. We are enjoying great popularity among shoppers, diners and others who have discovered Downtown Rutland and the Paramount Theatre.
